This movie is action packed, and very funny! I've seen it twice already and want to see it again. Everyone in the theater laughed so hard during the majority of the movie. Scott and the Rock are a great duo. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat till the very end. This is one defintely worth your time, and your money! I highly recommend it!
A much better role for the Rock. A damn good action flick too.<br/><br/>The Rock is electrifying in his roleBeck, and he takes on a memorable performance this time. Also it's nice to see a small torch passing here in this movie. Arnie walks by saying, "Have Fun". Meaning enjoy your ride your the next big action star. The Rock does show a sense of humour in this film too. Not to mention he wont hesitate to do a spine buster and Rock Bottom either. As it fits so well. Sean William Scott is the perfect pick for Beck's mission. As his mission proves not to be so easy. Not to mention it was so hialrious seeing Seann trying to act tough infront of the Rock and he gets smashed twice. The girl was hot. And she played a dirty trick on both, but it wasn't too bad. As for Christopher Walken he played the perfect bad guy.<br/><br/>The other thing about this action flick, besides the great laughs, and action, and wrestling, is the story. The storyline of the film caught me in.<br/><br/>Beck(Rock), before retringa hitman must do one more mission. he must pick up his bosses son, Travis(Sean William Scott). However Travis is in pursuit of a golden monkey. Beck is left with no choice but to help him out. And Christopher Walken's Character(forgot who he played) is after Travis, the golden monkey, and becomes in pursuit of Beck soon after Beck gets involved in Sean's little scheme.
Johnson, who was computer-generated in "Mummy" and only looked it in "Scorpion King," keeps it engaging, displaying a comedic knack first revealed during his Saturday Night Live appearance in 2000; he has the timing of a Rolex, even when playing straight man to American Pie's Stifler.
In Great Britain, this movie had been cut in order to achieve the more lucrative BBFC12 rating, however, only the uncut US Theatrical Version was released on DVD (tagged"Director's Cut"). The later BD release turned out to be a bad surprise: despite the BBFC15 rating only the shortened BBFC12 version could be found on the disc! Nearly one and a half minutes are missing in this version.
